THEME SONG:

Chucks got the questions, taking so sharp, peeling back layers, head in the heart.

Stefan Adika:

This is it? Okay, let's This is it. I don't have any preps. Do it?

Chuck Shute:

Fuck. How the fuck are you?

Stefan Adika:

So I do my show. Well, I've been doing okay. I've been actually, um, wood shedding right now. Haven't played bass in six, six or seven years. I think it is. Damn Yeah.

Chuck Shute:

Anybody mcsweeta said you sounded good?

Stefan Adika:

Well, I think he just was as a nice guy doesn't want to really tell the truth. So right there, I'm practicing. I got all my gear back here, Rocket mafia, and the it's like a band that's a tribute to all the music they they're influenced by. So they have a charity show, because that's all I do, is charities. Because, as you know, Chuck, I work for free. So Ricky asked me to help out with this one show and which I am. And

Unknown:

you think show, well, you're gonna do more, because I know you can't do the Europe tour or the you're gonna be in Europe. I'm gonna be another show when you come back. Maybe. So wanna,

Stefan Adika:

if they invite me back, I would do it. Yeah, I would do it. If they invite me back, I did one rehearsal with them yesterday. So it was good, but there's no singer yesterday. The singer doesn't live here in town. I think he's in Iowa, so so it was hard. It's hard to learn songs for me, I don't know for anybody else out there, but I need the vocals to cue off of oh, there's that part, then I go to that for me, that's how I work. But that's, you know, that's what I am. That's why I'm a DECA. I'm not a pro. I'm just a deacon.

Unknown:

No, you're, that's fucking awesome. You're kicking ass with the YouTube stuff too. You're kicking my ass. You're over 20,000 subs and making 1000s of dollars. And over,

Stefan Adika:

over 20,000 subs. I know it's a lot. It's a it's hard work, man, it's hard work. But I'm actually, yeah, I'm actually really happy that Ricky. Ricky invited me to do to rocket mafia because I was thrown I threw away everything. I didn't even know I had clothes for the show. Actually, I'm wearing what I wear at rehearsal yesterday. I slept it. That's awesome. This is my rehearsal clothes right here. Look, that's

Chuck Shute:

rock and roll. That's cool.

Stefan Adika:

Yeah, but yeah, they're all those guys, Ricky and Mick, really nice guys, really nice guys. And you know what? Man, whichever way you cut it, man, they both had hits. And poison, all these other bands are gone. They're gone. They're gone. You know, poison is a big act. Lot of hits, a lot of hits and bullet boys smooth up in you. But poison, you got to get into them. Everyone's a thorn. You know, nothing but a good time. You know, un skinny bop. There's a lot of good tunes that they have talked 30 to me. I actually saw poison play in Brooklyn to 50 people before they popped it was that record was on, like, I forget what it was, Enigma. I forget it. Maybe I forget what it was, but it was like they were capital at some point, yeah, but I think there was another label before I could be wrong. You have to look it up. But, um, keep this all for the show, man, this is good. This is your show since, since, uh, it was anybody else supposed to be here. It's just,

Unknown:

just you and me, buddy, Ryan Roxy. But I don't know. I don't know he's

Stefan Adika:

no way you you could have Ryan Roxy on your show. Second time

Chuck Shute:

it was gonna be

Stefan Adika:

Did you know Ryan and I, he taught me how to play bass, and I moved to California to play in his band. Did you

Unknown:

know that? I didn't know that? Yeah, I'm learning this. This is great. And what happened? How did you meet him? Initially,

Stefan Adika:

it's a great story. How I met Ryan was he had a band, electric angels, yeah, they moved from California. California to New York to get a record deal. But before electric angels, there was a Band Candy, yes, and that Band Candy was originally with a different singer named Kyle Vincent. I think his name is Gilby Clark. The drummer was John Schubert, and it was, yeah, it was Jonathan Kyle was the singer. Gilby was the guitar player, and Jonathan and John Schubert was the drummer who became a school teacher, right? So Jonathan

Unknown:

guy became one of the managers of, like, the biggest bands in the world, train,

Stefan Adika:

he manages train, Miley Cyrus, Green Day, like, he's huge. He's huge. Nice Guy, Jonathan, Jonathan, if you're watching this, you're a good guy. And his father is the famous author David Horowitz, who just recently passed away. Oh, I didn't know that you look up David Horowitz, yeah, so big time in the political world. But really, yeah. So that Band Candy, the singer ended up leaving, and Gilby became the singer. They needed another guitar player, so Ryan joined that Band Candy. Then, during the course of the time, Gilby left and made a band kill for thrills. And the Band Candy, which was Ryan, Jonathan Daniels, who Jonathan wrote all the songs by, by the way, he was the main and the drummer, John Schubert, great drummer, like a Charlie Watts. Those three guys found this singer named Shane credible. They formed electric angels. Realistically, electric angels was candy because Jonathan was the brainstorm, the best songwriter in the world, I'll go down amazing, great with lyrics. Knew how to write songs, Candy song, whatever happened to fun, incredible Batman. Electric angels couldn't get a deal in LA, so they came to New York. Now, is around the time yet bands getting signed. Circus of power, raging slab, there was a whole scene in New York going and how I met Ryan in the club scene and Christina

Unknown:

Applegate. Was it because I, I heard she was in the electric angels video.

Stefan Adika:

She was in the rattlesnake Yes, she was, she was, she had a crush on the singer, Shane. Wow, actually, I might be able to bring, I wonder if I could bring Shane's voice in here,

Unknown:

his voice. I'm friends with him. Oh, yeah. Calm. Or zoom him. Get him off. Zoom. Let's have an electric angels where you look and Jonathan too. Maybe Roxy will join in at some point, if we get a whole all his band members. Hold on. Okay, I'm holding this could be big. Oh, I don't know what my My thing is, shit. Oh, hello. Hold on. Hold on Shane, hold on hey, I'm Where are you at? Oh, I

Stefan Adika:

was about to do an interview with but Ryan Roxy didn't show up. He's an idiot. He's an idiot. Do me a favor. Send me your new music, please. All right. Call me when you're at a quiet place, okay,

Unknown:

I can't hear Shane, all right. Bye.

Stefan Adika:

Is that Washington? That was Shane. Everybody for any electric angels fans out there. And what does he do now? He's he writes songs and stuff. I think Jonathan works with him. Oh, is my word. It says, set up professional audio and audio, you could hear me, fine, right?

Chuck Shute:

I can hear you, fine. Yeah, I couldn't hear Shane. I don't know if I was supposed to be able to. That's okay. That's crazy. So Christina Applegate, so did he ever pursue that? Or was he like in a I

Stefan Adika:

don't know, they stayed friends with each other that I do know. It's

Unknown:

sad. What happened to her. Have you seen her lately? She has like, ns or something. Yeah,

Stefan Adika:

they he's good friends with her. But anyway, those Yeah, it's very sad what happened to her. It's so young. So they moved out to New York. Then we became friends, Ryan and I, and then Ryan I was had this girlfriend. My first girlfriend was like, I'm into drugs. And I was never into drugs, so I've had a guitar, and I fumbled by chords I taught myself house in the rising sun, but I didn't know anything. And then at the time, electric angels got to deal with Atlantic. Then they about to break up. And then Ryan did this cover band. We had me and him called emperor's new clothes, but it was basically songs I would pick out that I wanted to learn, like, have you ever seen the rain stepping stone? Chinese rocks was the first song I ever learned Ryan taught me, which was a song that Didi Ramon wrote, and crazy later on, that song that he taught me the first one I ever really learned how to play with a band that got. Me to gig with Dee Dee Ramon, because Dee Dee asked me what song you want to play. I go, let's do Chinese rocks. It's weird how this whole circle, that's

Unknown:

crazy. So wait, did you not did you not play music before you met Ryan Roxy? Oh,

Stefan Adika:

I fumbled, but I know I was not a real No, no, still not.

Unknown:

So basically, you owe your whole career to Ryan Roxy, Ryan. I owe everything to Ryan.

Stefan Adika:

I do. That's cool. I do. You guys are bugs. I loves and my losses. I Oh, hold the Ryan Roxy,

Unknown:

well, and then so, like, did he get you the audition with Alice Cooper? Because you, you had the gig with Alice Cooper, and you turned it down. I,

Stefan Adika:

I was doing these um, corporate gig parties because this bass player, Chuck Wright, was playing with them, and he got fired. Chuck, who was in quiet riot, yeah, I think he got fired. I don't know. I'm starting room is I'll say he got fired. I don't think he quit. Okay, it's just my we'll have to ask Ryan. But then it was, we had a band with Eric Singer called glam nation, and with Eric Dover, it was Eric singer's idea, and it's basically the Alice Cooper band, and except for me. But then that band, glam nation, went and did some Christmas pudding corporate parties like parties for Alice. So Alice hired us and to do those gigs. And at the time, he was looking for a bass player. And then I told Chuck, yeah, we mean, Chuck talked about it, but I was playing with Didi at the time. I go, Yeah, you shouldn't do the audition. So he just got the gig, chuck, chuck Garrick. And then I cons I was doing Didi, and Didi died, so that's it. But Chuck is the right bass player for Alice. You know, I could have faked my way through it, but he's, he's, he's more, you know, a creature rocker. That's what they need. The Alice Cooper band guys don't look like monsters.

Chuck Shute:

You're too pretty. You're too pretty for

Stefan Adika:

too pretty. So Ryan used to be pretty. Now I don't looks like a zombie, zombie version of Ryan Roxy. Where is he? I thought he's showing up. He's not coming, dude. So what do you do? I want to see behind the scenes. What do you do when you guess the dude? Do you call that publicist up? Like, did you do this? No, I used to

Chuck Shute:

direct, directly through his email. No, I am not. This is It's freaking first of all, it's Mother's Day. It's a Sunday. I did not want to do this today. He goes, Hey, can you do it tomorrow? I was like, I guess I kind of

Stefan Adika:

wanted to write to him. Go write to him on a wherever you wrote, write him an email.

Unknown:

This is more fun. Maybe he'll show up. Maybe he'll remember.

Stefan Adika:

Well, hold on. Does it hurt you? Does he have a new single that he's trying to promote. What's it called? Who? What's a what's a single called um, Jimmy crackcon. What is

Unknown:

this? No, you'll love the title. It's called better than you. Another thing

Stefan Adika:

better than you. Ryan loves himself better than you. Ryan interviews Ryan. Ryan interviews his AI version of Ryan. What kind of guy is this? Ryan guy? It's like, it's like, it's like, ridiculous. Hold on. Do you want me? Let me see. What are you doing? I'm gonna try to call Ryan for you hilarious. I'm gonna see if he even remembers who you are.

Unknown:

If he remembers, I hope he remembers. I just emailed him yesterday, I mean, but I am forgettable, so maybe call ended be funny, if you answered. Hey, what's going on? I got I'm not doing anything. Where you at? I want to go. Call me. Call me. Maybe I got an email? Nope, no emails. I was like, maybe he emailed me and said, Hey, I need to reschedule. At

Stefan Adika:

least. This could be, this could be a good show, but anyway, yeah, really quick if you're going to add us for a show, I'm playing next Friday with rock and mafia, and it's in Hollywood, called the ovation. It's the outside mall and to charity. Is it a free it's a free gig, it's a free gig? Yeah. What

Unknown:

is it? And is this the charity for the cancer or the

Stefan Adika:

you know what I am? It's right here. I got the ED right here. It's Ovation rock and rides the DGR music and moto show. So there's going to be live music, prizes, food, motorcycles, DJ, raffles, drinks. May 16, the 12pm it starts. We go on at 7pm Pacific Standard Time, the distinguished gentleman pre ride to benefit the November foundation. That's what it is. And there's actually a barcode that you could donate money that Ricky had sent me so I could send it there. So that's what that's all about. Donations for the distinguished gentleman's ride accepted. So, yeah,

Unknown:

it'll be playing poison songs and classic rock songs.

Stefan Adika:

We'll be playing like 15 songs I what I rehearsed, what I know like. We'll be doing, yeah, poison bullet boys, songs from the 70s and which I'm practicing, learning as of now. Can I do it a full set? Absolutely not. But by Friday, I'll be ready. So if anybody's watching, come and check out the rocket mafia. I'm filling in for the basis Brian, so I'll be doing that ovation. Hollywood Boulevard. The address is 68, 01, Hollywood Boulevard. Make sure you tag Ricky rocket in this so he knows that I'm, I'm a team player. Yo? Ricky, yeah, for sure. Yeah, tag him.

Chuck Shute:

Another one that didn't show up for

Stefan Adika:

show up. Nice

Unknown:

guy, really humble guy, well, everyone's nice. I'm just, uh, yeah, Cancer

Stefan Adika:

Survivor too, man. You know, just a good guy, yeah, guy, and he's great. He's a hypochondriac like me. So we get along great, great rhythm sections, two neurotic guys in the back.

Unknown:

I'm a hypochondriac too, I feel like, but you should, I don't think he has a much to worry about, because you don't drink, you don't do

Stefan Adika:

your own drink smoke. But I'm actually rehearsing Wednesday with them, and I go for a CT scan. I'm all nuts about in my head. I went, got to colonoscopy, and the doctor goes, Hey, we should do a CT. And I'm like, Oh, I think I have everything. And knock on wood, I hope everything's okay, but I'm doing that Wednesday, and then after that, I'm going to ride out to Ricky's house, because that's where we rehearse. And I'll do the rehearsal. So Ricky, if you're watching this, not only I'm doing CT scans, I'm coming right after they do to die Who me? I'm come right to you. Ricky, does the other bass player would do this only I would do it. Forgive the dedication.

Unknown:

What are they scanning? Is it the stomach or the kidneys or

Stefan Adika:

stomach? I guess. I guess they check for everything. You know, you got in the colonoscopy. I had a polyp and a nodule and, and, but don't they just clip everybody. They clipped the polyp. But if you know, this is my second one, if anybody's watching this, go get checked out, because I was 50, had no polyps, then they want me to wait till 60. But I being crazy, I go, and I had nothing wrong, and I just go, let me go get checked out. So they did endoscopy, I guess they call it, yeah, I was freaked out. They put you on the end at the same time, and then they found the polyp they removed and the nodule they didn't remove. But my doctor says nothing to worry about, but, but of course, it's easy for him to say, I'm nuts, but now I had to make an appointment. Did the GI doctor recommended to do a CT scan. What they do to die in Yes, I'm like, I got the insurance. But here's the crazy thing, I got bills for the colonoscopy and endoscopy. Guess how much they charge for the whole thing? Not that I have to pay this whole thing. They want me to pay 500 which, I'm like, This can't be right. But guess what they charge the insurance charge.

Chuck Shute:

Oh, probably like, 20 grand or

Stefan Adika:

something. Yeah, you hit it. It was 18. Is that crazy? Yeah, that sounds about

Chuck Shute:

that's like, when I had my appendix out, and that was when I first became an adult, and so I had insurance, and I was like, Oh, I got insurance that'll cover it. They were sending me bills, like, years later, like, yeah, you still owe, like, there was, like, $20 for this and, like, they just fucking nickel and dime you for everything on that. It's crazy. It's, it's crazy. You know what's crazy is that our country spends more on healthcare than any other country, and we're the sickest, so maybe we're doing something wrong. And

Stefan Adika:

when you they'll drain, you, they'll drain, they'll tap out your bank account. Oh, yeah, it's such a mono

Unknown:

Yeah, if you get like, cancer or something like, Good night, like, it just, they're just, yeah, they're just gonna take all it's, it's such an insurance like, cancel you. They're like, Oh, we can't afford to quit the cancer payments. We'll just cancel your insurance. You're fucked now, quick to cancel. Yeah, insurance companies are the worst. They're so greedy. And, yeah, that's cool, that Ricky is doing this thing to, you know, try to help people. I like that. No, he's,

Stefan Adika:

he's actually all about it. He reached out. I saw online, because singer of the band that just recently was in the news, he got cancers. Oh

Chuck Shute:

yeah, three doors down I saw that. I saw Yeah. He was saying, like, yeah, hit me up if we need to talk. And because he did some sort of, like, new treatment, it was like, I think was like, I think was like, peptides or something, yeah,

Stefan Adika:

I don't know the details, but I do know he did something, and he's all he just, he's a good he's all around good guy. Ricky,

Unknown:

yeah, something, he didn't show up for my podcast. But other than that, I showed

Stefan Adika:

up. How about running around? Yeah, yeah, he didn't

Unknown:

show up either, but he's a good guy. They're all good guys, you know? They just, I'm like, you know, I'm at the bottom of the totem pole. After six years of podcasting, it's still, I'm just it's fine,

Stefan Adika:

you know what? Well, you know what? I'm here, I know, and I love

Unknown:

you, and I'm so grateful. I love talking to you. We talk all the time. I feel like it's just like, uh, having a conversation

Stefan Adika:

in the show. I'm a fan of your show. You'll get them. You're the one. Okay? You're the one that's good. You know me and Debbie Mueller,

Unknown:

she disappeared. I don't know what happened. What happened? Let's

Stefan Adika:

talk about the fans. What happened? What's with that?

Unknown:

I think it's just, why did they hate us? They don't hate us. It's just too many podcasts to listen to. No

Stefan Adika:

I had when I started my show, which advanced into something now it's more professional, but thank God. And anybody who does has not seen my show, check out artist on record. It's interviews with musicians from the 50s to the 90s, from Dion the Moochie, from Dion to the Belmonts to Gene Simmons of Kiss. And there's a lot of cool. It's getting there.

Unknown:

Ace, freely. Mick Mars, really? Zach Wilde, all the guy, my favorite was

Stefan Adika:

with Jeff Scott Sutton, Stephen Gibbs. Stephen Gibbs father was Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees and Barry Gibb photo bombs, and he starts waving. You gotta get Barry. I gotta get him one on one, though. I gotta get him on but, yeah, anybody wants to check out artists on record, check it out, and we'll cross promote each other, but the fans, they turn on you quick, like I had, like I used to give away vinyl. I was trying to make a community, and I realized the community, it could go south really quick if you, if you, if you don't defend somebody, or somebody doesn't like somebody in the community, and you try to be Switzerland, you can't win. Everybody's gonna get pissed at you. And that's what happened with me in the world of the Debs. They those two Debs. I'm not going to say the last names, but just called the Debs, just the Debs, and that Deb is mad at that Deb, and behind the scenes, they're bitching, and then, for some reason, it's all my fault. And what happens to the Debs? They're like alligators sharks. They go after you, and then they disappear. And then you, you know, you're like, What the hell happened? Where's the community? Because those are the devs. They were the real supporting the show. And then I realized, you know what, don't let out. Let the people enjoy it, let them feel like they know you, but you got to keep boundaries. That's it. And that was a mistake. I attend the beginning. I would I was so appreciative. People wanted to hear me. I wanted to be friends with everybody. You can't make everybody happy. I appreciate the Debs and whatever they're doing. I wish them the best. I don't wish them no ill, but I realize I have enough drama in my life. I don't need outside people that I'm bringing in more drama. So just now I got, I got this shield. I'm polite, I respect them all. I love them all. I'm glad they love the shows, don't I want everybody to be well, I just don't want the negativity.

Unknown:

Yeah, exactly. You can't make everybody happy. That's the problem. It's like, yeah, and that just goes forever. And

Stefan Adika:

my feelings get hurt too. I feel like I'd want upset people. It's like, what the hell I like having the community my show, my show was so wacky. I had relatives trying to make believe their own show, and they they tried to be me. It was so crazy. It was so crazy. Yeah, I had every trolls. I mean, it was awful, but now I'm, I'm happy. I mean, Coffee Talk is a great channel, but it was more like the algorithm wasn't picking it up. I had somebody escape, a story from Jonestown, escape in Jonestown to the guy from Midnight Express to the producer who was with John Lennon the night he died. It was all over the map. Doc McGee, so I had to separate the channels. Yeah, smart. I put the music on one, and that grew, and the other one just finally hit 5000 of the original, but the other one over 20. Okay, so,

Unknown:

yeah, maybe start another music channel. But now I feel like, I feel like there's so many music channels. And there's ones that are so specific too. There's like, literally, Hair Metal Music interview channels. There's a lot

Stefan Adika:

you got to do something to stick out. You got to do something to stick out. And you know what? And everybody said, said it to me too. Just got to be you. You can't be anybody else but you. And just bring what you do in the interviews, and people like you, then they like it. They don't get COVID that you dish means go shit in the river.

Unknown:

Okay, okay, I should go do that. Then, Yeah, cuz not you,

Stefan Adika:

the people just be you. And that's what makes your channel Great. Interview, what you want to interview? And that's it. What about that last interview did with the chuck Dina? She like it just ended. You closed the screen. And I'm like, where's Yeah,

Chuck Shute:

well, she goes, because she was saying something at the end. She goes, Oh, I gotta go. And then she's like, cut this part out. And I was like, okay, she told you to cut it out. Yeah, she told me to cut this part at the end, she had to go, she had to go to the bathroom. No, she had to go to work. And so she should have

Stefan Adika:

just said, I Hold on while you finish.

Unknown:

She said. She goes, we can pick this up. She goes, I gotta go do something. Can we pick this up later? Or we could just end it? And I go, that's, let's just end it. I don't. Nobody cares. It got like, 40 views. I mean, she's nice, she's a good comedian, she's funny. I thought we're having a good conversation. I thought it was just starting to get interesting. And then she's like, I gotta go and see that's a. Thing, when you a 30 minute podcast, I feel like it you start to get into the weeds, and then they're like, Well, that's it. We gotta go. And then you're like, Okay, goodbye. That's why, if you get if you watch Joe Rogan, because three hours seems so long, but if you watch those interviews, like, that's when things start to get really good. Is in the second and third hour is like, it starts to get really deep, because you've already covered all the superficial shit, totally broken the ice. It takes like an hour to do that. I think sometimes with someone you don't know, like you and I, we just pick up anytime. Just pick

Stefan Adika:

up and talk nonsense. It's all good. Well, I guess, I guess you know what, we might as well do something for Ryan nice since he blew you off, you could show you had a nice guy. Let's promote his record. You know, since he's not here to promote it, what's the name of the single. It's all about Ryan. What is it called? Ryan loves myself. Ryan loves the mirror. How about the song? Where's my hair? Ryan? Why don't you write one about that? RYAN The fossil. What's the name of this?

Unknown:

Better than you, better than you song, it's a good and it's a cool video. He's got a 70s TV references like the monsters and Brady Bunch. And it's kind of cool, like you'd probably get some of the references more than me, actually, all

Stefan Adika:

right. Well, Ryan, better than you. Ryan Roxy's new song, better than you. Everybody check it out. Chuck will put links to that you make sure you check that out. And also Ricky rocket, the rocket mafia, yes, playing, uh, Hollywood Friday, Hollywood Boulevard, the ovation. Make sure you guys check that out.

Unknown:

If I get some money. I might just fly up and come see you. I'd be I've never seen funny show

Stefan Adika:

three outdoors Hollywood Boulevard. You'll see, not only you'll see Ricky guys from poison in the bullet boys, you'll see Superman. You'll see on the Hollywood Boulevard Batman. You might even see the Hulk walking around.

Unknown:

Or any of your other buddies gonna come. I don't know, friends down there, I don't know. Yeah,

Stefan Adika:

I mean, Derek Sherinian, I told him, Eric Singer, I don't think he'll be in town. But, um, I think I don't know. I don't know. You know this Hollywood, who knows who will show up? But um,

Unknown:

man, you're friends with so many people, so many musicians. You talk to them all the time, right? Couple?

Stefan Adika:

I do a couple, you know? But definitely don't talk to Ryan much. Obviously, he didn't show up here,

Chuck Shute:

but you did talk to him sometime. I just have his number. I just Yeah. Earlier,

Stefan Adika:

he texted me. He's on the phone with his wife, but, uh, he's not answering. Now, why don't you try to shoot him an email, tell him that, hey, I should I just sign out and

Unknown:

let's see. I think it's funny, or if I don't, if I have just wait. I just, are you

Stefan Adika:

gonna see how long eventually he's gonna

Unknown:

feel he's gonna go, oh shit, and then he'll feel bad. And I I think

Stefan Adika:

I gotta get Okay, I gotta go because of Mother's Day. But, um, yeah, but um, how long you gonna wait here for him? No, this was it. This was, oh, that you're not waiting anymore. You're so,

Unknown:

I mean, I waited 38 minutes. He's not coming. It's fine. I got so much other stuff to do. I have two other interviews tomorrow. I got one, and then Tuesday, I'm reading this guy's book. So I'm trying to finish that book. It's like a Guns N Roses biography. Who's

Stefan Adika:

whose is it?

Chuck Shute:

God? What is his name? Pop off, Martin, pop off. He's like, a music journalist. Oh

Stefan Adika:

yeah, yeah. He I get a bunch of different free books. Like, oh, really from this company, yeah, yeah,

Unknown:

yeah, yeah. So I love guns and roses. So I was like, Oh, this is right up my alley. Like, oh, that's cool, yeah. So we'll just talk Guns and Roses for like an hour. I think, I mean, if he shows up,

Stefan Adika:

but you don't have an email to call Ryan or anything.

Unknown:

I mean, I could email him. I just, I got to get ready for these other two so, I mean, I was kind of like squeezing this in, and now I probably have to move it to, like Thursday or Friday, if

Stefan Adika:

you at the end of the Ryan Roxy show,

Unknown:

that's, I mean, shows up. And right now for

Stefan Adika:

everybody, here's some Ryan Roxy stuff this. This is something on eBay. Ryan Roxy guitar pick for 50 bucks. I actually drew that when we lived together. Yeah, that's from electric angels. They're selling it now. You drew

Chuck Shute:

that? I didn't know I drew that. Yeah, wow,

Stefan Adika:

that's cool. Yeah, I drew that. And then let's just see, before we get out of here, Chuck, I just got to ask you really quick. Let me see my AI clone ask me better questions than any journalist ever has. Look at

Unknown:

this. I saw that I watched that. It was trippy. And

Stefan Adika:

and then Ryan Roxy over here. Alice Cooper, guitarist, Ryan Roxy interviewed by the producer on his own show.

Unknown:

Yeah, he was a guest on I want to do that. I want to be a guest on my own. You can't,

Stefan Adika:

because you don't love Chuck as much as Ryan loves Ryan. Remember that? Yeah, I know who Ryan's biggest fan is. Ryan Correct correct answer. I can't believe he blew you off. Well, I guess. On that note, are you still going to promote his uh,

Unknown:

better, yeah, yeah, because he's better than me, so I gotta and he's better. Am I gonna promote my single? I should make an AI single. That's what

Stefan Adika:

I should do. Are you gonna release this? Sure? Why not this interview? Yeah, that's fun, really. Yeah. You want me. Too. Yeah, go ahead. Okay, cool. Hey, Ryan, why are you about to do this to chuck Why have to do why have to hurt the Chuckster? What's wrong with you? Come on. I'm

Unknown:

sure he'll have a great excuse. I forgot it was Mother's Day. He's like, oh shit, it's Mother's Day. He's

Stefan Adika:

on tour. He's not even with his wife. He her home a Mother's Day living

Unknown:

in South Africa or so much. I was like, I don't think that's a good place to be living right now, but he's now in a Motel Six in Alabama. They're doing the show without Alice Cooper. It's called, like, the goon squad or something. Yeah, they it's like, oh, with

Stefan Adika:

the drummer, yeah. So Eliza,

Chuck Shute:

is that what he's what? That's

Stefan Adika:

the nickname they give him, the Sobel Eliza, whatever. Glenn, Sobel,

Chuck Shute:

okay, yeah, didn't

Stefan Adika:

you say you don't like him or something? I don't think he likes me. Oh, yeah. What do you do to him? Oh, I just made comments. When, when, in the beginning, I just said he wasn't a rock and roll drummer, and he got mad about it.

Chuck Shute:

Is he more like a pop drummer, or

Stefan Adika:

he's, he's, he's, he's a technical he's a really good technical drummer. He I just never thought he was the right drummer for Alice Cooper. And I still don't think he's the right drummer. And I don't think people really give two craps about him, but, but just pictures of him with Johnny Depp, and then he filled it with Motley Crue one at one show. You know, he's a technically good drummer. He's just too, you know, I'm Jewish, but he's too Jewish looking to be there. That's it. That's it. And you could add this, I don't care. I don't care. Because, trust me, I don't care if he becomes the next Tommy Lee, talking to him is watching pain dry. Oh yeah, I was backstage with him and Ryan, and Ryan brought me back there. He was, like, real upstate. He goes, I could embarrass you in front of your family. I'm, like, embarrassing me. Go ahead. Go ahead. And he he was thinking because it was some girl that I didn't like him. And you know what he's talking about. You know, back in the day, he came to the cat club and would watch his jam before he was even known, and he would criticize us and he'll deny it, because he said to me, show me the receipts. Glenn, you got an you got a memory like an elephant. I don't remember, but I do remember when you criticized us, because other people even know, know, Eric Singer even knew about it, but anyway, I just never invited him up the gym. And the reason why ain't a rock and roll trauma. I never thought he was cool. Now he became cool because he's back there. He puts his makeup on. Did he cut? He got like, the Jew hair and makeup? It's just ridiculous. Nobody's looking at him. They're all looking at the chick anyway. Nita, Yeah, nobody's looking at client. I like Nita. He could play a drum solo that's been in, you know, whoever, nobody cares. They should even skip a solo. Just give it all to the girl. Does he get a drum solo? Are you gonna edit? Chuck?

Unknown:

Yeah, can I if I commission? Okay,

Stefan Adika:

sorry, ahead. That's just my my point, my I think the band is great. I think, I think as far as drummers, with Alice Cooper, Eric Singer, was really good. Oh, that's what I said to him. I got him mad because we're back because I said, the only reason you're in the band. And I said, I said that on Ryan's show. And I said to him again, I go, Oh yeah, I did say that I forgot, and I forgot now, now something triggered me. I said that you're only there because at the time, Eric's and kiss and you're cheap, that's what you're in the band.

Chuck Shute:

Yeah, I could see where he'd get mad at that.

Stefan Adika:

So anyway, that was it. But he is a great drama. Besides all that, I just, you know, rock people don't understand the Alice Cooper band, originally, they were not a metal band. They're a rock and roll band, and they're like from this like the Stooges sound a straight rock and roll Garage Band, and it's the truth. It's the truth. Yeah,

Chuck Shute:

did you ever hear those like

Stefan Adika:

that early stuff? Let me tell you the downtown Alice from the 70s.

Unknown:

No, that was good. But the early 80s stuff was, it's a

Stefan Adika:

different it's a different reason and all, it's no, no, not even

Unknown:

before that. There was one that I listened to, and I was like, Dude, this was like, it was like, Lionel Richie or something. It was so weird.

Stefan Adika:

You went, there's a song that Bernie topplin, Elton John sky wrote, and it was something like you and me, or something great song, beautiful song. It's like an Elton John type song, because, um, John's co writer wrote it. It's great. But the early Alice Cooper, when you listen to that the band and what they and Dennis Dunaway every he's like the, like the John dance whistle at the band that you can't replace that bass sound. It's like something special. But didn't you just have him on your show? Yeah? Yeah, because the chuck group is recorded a record. But it's two different beasts, two different animals, but, um, the early you gotta hand it all to those guys, the Alice Cooper show. Now it's like a Broadway show, basically, they got the right people playing the right parts, and that's what it is. It's tight, it's professional, and that's what Alice wants, you know, yeah, well, I know, turns like that. Guns N Roses. When

Unknown:

they played with Motley Crue, people were saying Alice Cooper was his band was blowing Motley Crue away, because, you know, he had all these younger guys that were really it was a really tight musicianship, and it sounded really good. Yeah,

Stefan Adika:

it's really tight. It's, it's really tight and but you can't, you can't, even when you, you can't recreate, like, what Guns and Roses was. That was something different the time, the era,

Unknown:

the the members now, did you ever see the original lineup of Guns and Roses back? Yeah,

Stefan Adika:

yeah, oh yeah. The rich show. Two nights I was there, it was incredible. Oh my god, incredible. It was like, something's magical. I couldn't believe it. What year was this? Oh, like, 87 I forget. And it was like, whoa. They opened up with it so easy. I'm like, wow. And the one thing special about that show was because back in the day, the music community was separate. You had your thrash metal people hanging out in that scene. You had the punk rock in that scene, the hardcore people, skinheads there, glam people would hang out in different but that Guns and Roses shot the Ritz, we guided everybody together. And it was very special, because they were a mixture of all of it, and they had the songs, and they had the energy, and you can't it was a special moment.

Unknown:

Was that before they had, like, gotten really famous, yeah, yeah, wow, that's crazy. That would be so cool. We had a time machine to go back and see that before

Stefan Adika:

the Yeah, think the first single they might have released was Welcome to the jungle, sweet child of mine. No, I

Unknown:

think they first. Was it so easy and it bombed. And then Welcome to the Jungle. They played it like I

Stefan Adika:

was there when they made a video for it so easy at the cat house, really. And David Bowie was in the audience. What was this? Window down to a fight with

Unknown:

something? Yeah, yeah. I heard about this, and he chased him down the parking lot,

Stefan Adika:

something like that. Forget the story, but I remember being there, yeah? Cat House Party. Yeah, Ricky

Unknown:

rackman talked about that in his uh, did you ever see the Ricky rackman When he, like, did the live shows and tour up? I remember

Stefan Adika:

going to Ricky's house that day. He was doing the guest list. I remember Christina Applegate was underage, and she couldn't get in for that gig. I remember that she called them up, Christina, I can't get her in. She's underage. Wow, yeah, I remember that. That's so crazy. I met Ricky through Ryan because they were best friends. That's how I write that whole scene.

Unknown:

Yeah, because Richard, when we tried out for candy, I think, as the singer, I don't

Stefan Adika:

know, try one more time. Write them before we get out of here. See if you could get them on here.

Unknown:

He's not gonna fucking reply. Then nobody gives a shot just to clear the air about

Stefan Adika:

the Alice Cooper thing. It's just like, I do think guns are really great drummer, but that's just my opinion. But the show goes on, they're doing good. They're selling tickets. What's my opinion? Matter? It doesn't matter. So

Unknown:

what do you want me to say to it? You want me to say, Hey, I'm waiting

Stefan Adika:

here. Are you? Did you you? Can you not do it? Okay?

Chuck Shute:

Let's say, do you need to reschedule. Because I don't

Stefan Adika:

think I wouldn't even have him back on. Not like he's gonna do anything. I'll bring you more subscribers. I

Unknown:

think so. Dirt. Are you giving me more dirt? Yeah. I mean, I was just Yeah, because somebody said, Oh, Troy, Patrick Farrell said, Oh, I just had Ryan Roxy on. He did happen on. I was like, oh, okay, yeah. I guess I could have Ryan on again. It was fun, like, and I just re watched our interview is actually, I think it was really good. I covered, like, his whole career, right? I talked about everything pretty much. So that's always like, I don't know what I'm gonna talk to him about, because I freaking talked to his whole I told his whole life story last time he was on. If people want to go back and check if they're really interested, they should go and check that episode out. I'm

Stefan Adika:

just, I'm texting right now. Chuck Shute said you blew him off. Why? Why you gotta hurt the guy? Why you

Unknown:

gotta hurt the guy? So I'm gonna help you out. Chuck, thanks. I appreciate it. Yeah, he's the guy at disclaimer

Stefan Adika:

at the end of this video. Glenn Sobel, you are amazing. I love you. That's it, just like you. Unknown:

the Debs. I miss them. I don't know what happened. That's a good show. All right, thank you for doing this. You're welcome. I was able to fill this with someone.

Stefan Adika:

Well, that's what I'm here. Adika helps. All

Chuck Shute:

Yeah, you. To come back.

Unknown:

We'll do it again. We'll do it again. All right, man.
